Is there anything like that first baby? Sharing the big news. The planning. The dreaming. The learning. It looks like a bean. It’s the size of a lemon. The first flutter, kicks and hiccups. Every little step along the way is new. It’s all happening for the very first time.

These parents thought they had a little more time to prepare for their newborn’s arrival but just like any baby has it’s own schedule so did this one. He decided to arrive over 3 weeks early. You wouldn’t have guessed it though as he weighed nearly 8 lbs at birth. With his family’s love of soccer, I thought it would be fun to incorporate a shot of Dad with their baby boy to put in his sports-themed nursery. Kicking. Catching. Throwing. Those will surely all be as noteworthy first milestones to this family as crawling and walking.
