I was driving our family to our very first cruise over Spring Break, when I received a call from Allison’s mama. She was hoping that I would do photos of her then 3 week old. I knew by the time I got back from vacation and photographed a couple other sessions that I had lined up, her daughter would be over a month old. Newborns are generally better sleepers and easier to pose when under two weeks but I have a hard time denying a family wanting images of their precious baby. These times, these moments are so fleeting and photographs are what we really hold on to. And besides, when you get a baby like Allison who slept better than most new newborns, she pretty much crushes that whole “under two weeks thing” anyway. She slept like a champ and we were able to capture a beautiful variety.

Allison has two older sisters who are in love with her so we squeezed in some family shots outdoors as well. To say Allison is adored would be an understatement.
